Our Key Sectors

Every site has different access, safety and security needs. We assess how the entrance is used day to day, then recommend a gate, automation or access control setup that feels reliable, practical and properly suited to the setting.

Schools & Academies

Safe, well-managed entrances for pupils, staff, parents and visitors, planned around daily movement, safeguarding and controlled access.

Business Parks

Dependable gate systems for shared commercial spaces, helping manage staff, visitor, contractor and delivery access with confidence.

Residential

Considered entrance solutions for managed residential sites, private estates and shared developments where security, privacy and ease of use matter.

Public Authorities

Robust, practical gate and access control systems for council, institutional and public-sector sites that need reliable day-to-day operation.

BS EN 12453 Compliance

Commercial and school gate systems need to be safe, reliable and properly documented. We take compliance seriously from the first assessment through to installation, testing and handover, so every system is planned with current UK safety expectations in mind.

We assess the site, gate movement and user risks before recommending the right setup

We carry out force testing and provide the relevant certification for the installation

We prepare clear technical documentation, so the gate is properly recorded and supported after handover

Expert, Bespoke Support

Commercial and school entrances often need more than a gate alone. We can support the full entrance system, including gate automation and access control, so the finished setup is secure, practical and easier to manage day to day.

Gate Automation

Automation can help busy sites control vehicle movement, improve convenience and reduce the need for manual gate operation.

Automation for new commercial and school gates
Automation upgrades for suitable existing gates
Above-ground or below-ground automation options where appropriate
Safety-led setup, testing and reliable daily operation
Integration with access control, intercoms, keypads and fob systems

Access Controls

Access control helps schools, businesses and managed sites decide who can enter, when they can enter and how visitors are handled.

Audio and video intercom systems for visitor management
Keypad entry for controlled access without physical keys
Fob access for staff, regular users or authorised visitors
Controlled entry for deliveries, contractors, pupils, staff and visitors
Integration with automated gates for a more complete entrance system

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cannot praise the service we received from Will & his colleagues enough. They came to appraise the issue we were having with our gate within 24 hours of getting in contact, they were timely, polite, professional & sorted our gate within thirty minutes. Will is honest, upfront, friendly and obviously a specialist in his field, and his colleagues were both knowledgeable, charming & hardworking as well. If you’re considering fitting, repairing or servicing your automatic gate system this is a strong recommend on service alone. Thank you all.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend using Wills Gates. Will and his team recently removed an old set of wooden gates for me, and installed a new motorised wooden vehicle gate plus a pedestrian gate. The project was not straight forward, due to the slope of the driveway, and also the slope of the public road that it’s on. However, from the initial meeting, through the installation, Will found solutions to the issues, and the end result is fantastic! The gates look exactly as I wanted them, operate perfectly, and the entry system he suggested is secure and simple to use. The project was completed on time and within budget. Will and his team are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.
