Our Story
Excellence Since 2014
Will’s Gates is a family-run Hertfordshire business specialising in bespoke gate design, manufacture, automation and access control for homes, schools and commercial premises.
Since 2014, we have helped clients create entrances that feel considered, work reliably and suit the property they are built for. From handcrafted timber gates to aluminium, metal and wrought iron designs, every project is shaped around the site, the style of the building and how the entrance needs to perform day to day.
That practical approach is supported by a strong technical foundation. Our founder’s background in automation engineering means we understand the systems behind a well-built entrance, while our family-run way of working keeps the process personal, clear and attentive.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all recommendations, we take time to understand the property, the entrance and the level of control required. This allows us to recommend a route forward that feels right, functions properly and is built with the details in mind.

Our Philosophy
The Pillars of Our Craft
Uncompromising Craftsmanship
Every gate is made with care, precision and respect for the property it belongs to, from the choice of materials to the final finish.
Family Values
As a family-run business, we keep the process personal, practical and attentive, with a genuine commitment to getting the details right.
Designed Around the Property
We consider the building style, available space, security needs, automation options and daily use, so the finished gate feels like a natural part of the entrance.
Quality-Led from the First Conversation
We focus on clear advice, careful planning and proper installation, helping clients choose the right solution rather than the quickest shortcut.
Partners and Accreditations
Quality comes from the right workmanship, the right systems and the right partners. We work with established manufacturers and trusted suppliers across the gate automation and access control industry, supported by long-standing installation partnerships built over more than 10 years.
Tell Us About Your Entrance
